From Zoho CRM · Migration guide

Zoho is a database. GrowYu is a dialer.

Zoho CRM was built for the everything-business. Tele-sales teams ended up using maybe 12% of it — paying ₹1,400 per seat for the privilege. GrowYu is the calling-first subset, done right. At 12 agents on Zoho Standard: ₹2,01,600/yr. The same team on GrowYu annual: ₹10,189/yr. The math is brutal — and you keep nearly everything except the bill.

What changes

What carries over. What changes for the better.

What you keep

  • Your leads, contacts, and accounts (CSV / API import).
  • Your custom field values, by module.
  • Your historical activity log — imported as call notes.
  • Your team — same Admin / Manager / Rep model.
  • Your email integrations (Gmail, Outlook).
  • Your phone numbers and SIM-based dialing setup.

What changes for the better

  • Goodbye module-toggling — it’s just leads and opportunities.
  • Reports auto-built — no formula editor required.
  • WhatsApp is native — not a marketplace add-on.
  • AI summaries replace manual call notes.
  • Flat ₹999/mo replaces the per-seat treadmill.
  • 5-minute setup vs Zoho’s onboarding fortnight.
The 4-step migration

Connect, map, migrate, verify. Half a day for most Zoho exports.

1 · Connect / Export

Pull a CSV (or use the API) from Zoho CRM — modules, custom fields, stage labels. We’ll send the exact shape. ~45 min for larger orgs.

2 · Map & upload

Drag the CSV into the importer. Column-by-column mapping with a live preview. Multi-module exports flatten to lead + opportunity. ~20 min.

3 · Migrate the team

Invite reps by email or phone. They install the app, link their SIM, and they’re calling. ~10 min.

4 · Verify & re-wire

Point IndiaMart, FB Lead Ads, your forms, and WhatsApp at GrowYu. Cancel the Zoho seats at end of cycle. ~60 min.

FAQ

Zoho-specific migration questions.

I’m on Zoho One. Can I keep Books / Desk / Sign?

Yes — keep them. GrowYu replaces only Zoho CRM. We have lightweight integrations with Books and most accounting suites; Desk / Sign continue as-is.

What about my Zoho custom modules with their own pages and layouts?

They flatten to custom fields on Lead or Opportunity. The data carries over; the "module" abstraction goes away. Most tele-sales teams find this is a relief, not a regression.

Do my Zoho workflow rules carry over?

Triggers and actions map 1-to-1 (on create, on update, on field change, send email, assign user). Deluge functions don’t — we rebuild those into GrowYu Workflows. White-glove migration handles this.

Can my reports and dashboards survive the move?

GrowYu auto-builds the reports that matter for tele-sales (pipeline, source-ROI, rep activity, conversion). Bespoke Zoho dashboards rebuild in minutes. No formula editor required.

Is GrowYu enough if we also run B2B inside sales?

For tele-led inside sales, yes. For complex multi-touch B2B with quoting, multi-product orders, and SLAs — Zoho still has the heavier toolkit. We’re honest about this on the comparison page.

How long does the export from Zoho actually take?

For workspaces under 50k leads, the CSV export is under 30 minutes. Larger orgs use the Zoho API — our team handles that on Scale+ with white-glove migration.
